“Thank God for his Son — a gift too wonderful for words!” (2 Cor 9:15)
The verse above says it all: “Thank God for His Son – a gift too wonderful for words.” Jesus is too wonderful for words. He is our Savior and Friend, our Help in times of need. His love fills us and makes our lives meaningful and enjoyable.
His mission and mandate give our lives adventure and purpose. His leadership and guidance give us direction and a sense of calling. His compassion encourages and comforts us. His power enables us to live above the situations and circumstances of life that pull us down, His joy and peace sustain us and give us victory in stressful and turbulent times.
His promises give us strength for the present and hope for the future. He is the Gift that keeps on giving, every day in every way, always a blessing, always motivated by love for our good and to bring out our best. Jesus is incomparable, matchless, supreme. No one else deserves our highest loyalty and deepest praise. No one can compare with Him. He stands alone – King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Word-made-flesh.
Let us love Him supremely and serve Him faithfully – for “He alone is worthy!”
