Victory Follows Persevering in Faithfulness

Sometimes victory in the Christian life requires that we push hard through the spiritual resistance that seeks to impede our progress, just as a spaceship bound for heavenly visions must push through fire and shaking as it rises against the forces of gravity. As we persevere in faithfulness, God strengthens us by His Spirit in our inner person, enabling us to rise above the forces and circumstances that oppose us.

The Bible tells us that we are “seated with Christ” at the right hand of God (Eph 2:6), the place of power and victory and authority. We are “more than conquerors” through Christ, and we can do all things through Him who strengthens us. So keep looking up and pressing on and praising the Lord!
