So now I have published three books: “Ready or Not: The Tribulation, the Rapture, and the Second Coming” is the most recent (published in March ’22!). Before that, “Called to High Adventure: A Fresh Look at the Holy Spirit and the Spirit-filled Life” (available on Amazon, or from me directly if you want a discount); and my first book, “Berkeley Journal: Jesus and the Street People, a First-hand Report” was published way back when I was a seminary student.
Ready or Not is available in Kindle as well as paperback.
Called to High Adventure is a paperback, and I hope to have it available in Kindle soon.
Berkeley Journal has been out of print for decades now, but if there were sufficient interest, I would be inclined to re-publish it as a “retro book” about my spiritual growth and ministry experiences in the streets of wild and crazy Berkeley. (Let me know if that would interest you!
Here’s more information on my latest book, Ready or Not, published last month:
With all that is going on in our world in these days, it is understandable that many Christians, as well as people in general, are wondering if we are in the “last days.” Christians in particular are sensing that we may be approaching what the Bible describes as the Tribulation period, the Rapture, and the Second Coming of Christ.
If you are looking for a book that surveys all the different points of view about end times doctrines, you won’t find that here. What you will find, however, is Dr. Clayton Ford’s very compelling Biblical case for believing that the Rapture of the Church takes place after the Tribulation period at the Second Coming of Christ.
Does our viewpoint about these end times doctrines really matter? With regard to our salvation, no, it does not. And with regard to our unity in Christ, no, it does not. However, if we are truly in the last days approaching the Tribulation period and the return of Christ, it matters immensely. In Dr. Ford’s words, “There is a huge difference between preparing to escape and preparing to endure. If we are to endure the Tribulation, we will need a clear mindset of faith, courage, and resolve.”
Whatever your point of view, this book affords you the opportunity to search the Scriptures, as the Bereans did in the Book of Acts, to see if what is being taught is true. May God bless us all as we seek to understand, to grow, and to prepare for whatever lies ahead.
